If you really wanted to scare people away from smoking, how would you do it? Click on this link to read a Sarasota Herald Tribune article (11-11-10) about a proposal to add gross-out graphics (blackened teeth, decaying mouths, etc.) to cigarette packaging that will give people pause before lighting up.
I don't think adding this will make some people quit smoking. Maybe a couple are impacted and decide to stop but these are things they have known for a long time and they keep smoking. Why are they going to stop now from reading it this time? They have these already in Australia and many people smoke there. They even have one with a dead fetus and people don't care.
I agree with Katrishia, but I think it will at least stop some people from picking up smoking. It will stop the people who are already a little unsure of it but the ones who are already big into smoking probably won't care.
