If you've driven to Tampa on Interstate 4, you can't have missed the huge confederate flag. Click on this link to read a Sarasota Herald Tribune article (10-27-10) about how people in the flag's neighborhood react to it. Some (such as the woman in the photo) are quite supportive of its presence.
Maybe I'm just naive from living up north my entire life, but this whole waving of the confederate flag to me just seems obnoxious, ridiculous, and disgusting. I just don't understand the point, seriously the war is over, you lost,get of yourself. How in this day and age can you still feel that anything that went on during that time is right? It's just sick.
